250t Liebherr for cargo handler

Scottish rental company Whyte Cargo Handlers has taken delivery of a 250 tonne Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 All Terrain crane.

The five axle LTM 1250-5.1 features a 60 metre main boom plus a 12.2 to 22 metre 36 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with up to 45 degrees of offset. A wide range of extension options are available, topped by 50 metres of lattice, all of which can be offset by up to 45 degrees. The maximum tip height is 113 metres.

The new crane will mostly be used on a wide range of cargo handling projects in the north east of Scotland, which include chain and anchor handling and pipe loading etc…. The crane features an elevating cab as well as with a number of mobile grabbing attachments for handling fertilisers, grain, animal feeds, salt, coal and other bulk commodities.
