Crane driver released
The operator of the Jaso luffing tower crane that collapsed on a Liverpool building site on Monday has been released from Hospital.
His colleague who was crushed by the falling structure has not been named but local reports confirm that he is a Polish national.
Many, if not the majority of the construction workers on the site were of Polish origin. The post mortem on the dead man is due to open tomorrow.
In the meantime Health and Safety executive is continuing its forensic investigation. Critical parts of the crane will be taken away to the HSE laboratory for further analysis.
