Seven Liebherrs for Treffler

German crane rental and heavy haulage company Treffler - which was acquired by Maxikraft last year - has ordered seven Liebherr All Terrain cranes.

The company has taken delivery of a 60 tonne LTF 1045-4.1 truck crane, two 70 tonne LTM 1070-4.2 All Terrain cranes and a 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.1 All Terrain crane, while it has a 55 tone LTM 1055-3.1, a 90 tonne LTM 1090-4.2 and a 230 tonne LTM 1230-5.1 All Terrain crane scheduled for delivery in the coming months.

Maik Kanitzky, owner of the Maxikraft Group, said: “We want to retain the Treffler brand and continue to establish it in the market. With that in mind, we plan to continue to run the company with the name Treffler. It was very important to us to take on all the staff. Our next priority is to modernise the fleet. We are already seeing a positive development in the company.”

Once the company takes delivery, the new cranes will form part of the company’s social commitment which will see it donate 50 cents for every hour its fleet of cranes work to the Child Cancer Aid charity in Munich and Ingolstadt.

Based in Munich and with a second location in Ingolstadt, Treffler was acquired by Maxikraft last October. Made up of five companies, Maxikraft runs a fleet of more than 200 All Terrain and crawler cranes with capacities ranging from 25 to 1000 tonnes from 23 depots located predominately in eastern Germany. It also has a fleet of 70 heavy duty haulage vehicles and specialises in the assembly, dismantling and transport of tower cranes.
