Hy-Brid expands sales network

Custom Equipment/Hy-Brid Lifts has partnered with three regional sales groups across the USA with CMT Equipment, HK Sales and MLA Construction Sales.

Sacramento, California based CMT Equipment will cover northern California, Washington state, Oregon and northern Nevada. Company president Craig Truscelli began his aerial lift career in 1980, going on to work with a number of well known companies such as Ivy High Reach, where he was a branch manager, Sunbelt Rentals as a regional manager covering Sacramento, Fresno, Brand Scaffold as sales manager for California, Bigge Crane/Bear High Reach, Skyjack where he was regional sales manager for Northern California and Nevada.

The company is very much a family affair with daughter Madison Truscelli as vice president sales. The company also sells JLG and Genie with a strong used equipment operation.

HK Sales will cover southern California, the Las Vegas area and Arizona from offices in Irvine, California. The company is relatively new and focuses on general rental equipment from pneumatic tools to compaction equipment. Company president Holly Ford previously worked with LoJack in Phoenix, where she was director of national accounts, from 2012 to 2015, having started out in the media business. She also worked with Chicago Pneumatic, where she was regional sales manager for the western region, leaving at the end of last year for HK Sales.

MLA Construction Sales was established last year by president Jonathan Cook, following 22 years in the equipment and sales business, most recently with Chicago Pneumatic where he was vice president of sales, and before that Atlas Copco. However he started out at the age of 14, sweeping floors and helping load equipment at his grandfather’s rental store. The company is based in Lynnfield, Massachusetts and will cover Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Hy-Brid Lifts’ chief executive, Terry Dolan, said: “Deciding which groups to partner with wasn’t a decision we took lightly.
