60t Tadano for 30th

German crane rental company GAAC Commerz has celebrated its 30th anniversary with the delivery of a 60 tonne Tadano ATF 60G-3 All Terrain crane

The three axle ATF 60G-3 features a 48 metre seven section telescopic boom plus a 7.4 metre swingaway extension and can handle 6.3 tonnes radius of 14 metres. The company also ordered the crane with the 1.7 metre heavy duty extension, which offers capacities up to 26.2 tonnes.

GAAC managing director Peer Vogel, said: “We have been working with cranes from Lauf an der Pegnitz (Tadano/Faun) since we bought our first 40 tonne All Terrain crane back in 1993. From my experience, I can say with confidence that these cranes are as stable as they come and their lifting capabilities are just fantastic. Now that we have the new ATF 60G-3, we have taken on a lot of projects in halls, which involve tasks like putting together filter systems or construction parts. This is yet another application where the 60 tonner really comes into its own, as its compact design makes it reliable and easy to manoeuvre, while it can telescope amazingly well under load thanks to its short 9.5 metre base boom and heavy duty jib.”
