Sinoboom North America opens

Sinoboom has opened and moved into its new North American subsidiary in Houston, Texas. The facility, located opposite Mason Park in Katy, will be used to receive scissor and boom lifts shipped in from China ready for delivery, as well as for carrying out pre-delivery inspections and acting as base for its after sales service.

Kolin Kirschenmann, who was appointed as chief executive of Sinoboom North America last month, said: “We have chosen to locate in Houston, Texas because of its unrivalled transportation links and close connections to major commercial activities. We are now finalising a full team to support our customers across the US and Canada and look forward to success!”

Sinoboom’s new subsidiary in Houston, Texas

The move follows the opening of the company’s new European subsidiary in Rotterdam, the Netherlands earlier this month – see: Sinoboom Europe opening.

Sinoboom general manager Susan Xu said: “We are delighted that Sinoboom BV in Europe and Sinoboom North America have been able to complete this auspicious stage in their development on time and simultaneously.”
