Oil & Steel adds to French network

Oil & Steel has appointed sales and maintenance company SNM Lift as its official distributor for the north west of France with the two companies having previously worked together for around six to seven years.

SNM kicked off the new partnership by placing an order for 20 Oil & Steel 23.5 metre Snake 2413 Plus and 20 metre Snake 2010 H Plus truck mounted platforms.

Based in Vigneux-de-Bretagne, outside Nantes, the SNM also represents Genie for both aerial lifts and telehandlers, ATN mast booms and Movex van mounts, as well as a range of mobile cranes. It will be responsible for sales, repair and spare parts for Oil & Steel’s full range of truck mounted and spider lift platforms.

Founded in 1981, SNM Group comprises of subsidiaries SNM Lift, SNM Cranes, and SNM Heavy Handling. As well as SNM Lift, SNM Cranes represents Terex All Terrain and Rough Terrain cranes, Spierings self-erectors, Idrogru truck cranes, Maeda spider cranes, and JMG pick & carry cranes, while SNM Heavy Handling focuses on port handling and container equipment.
