50 Sinoboom scissors for Balloo

Northern Irish rental company Balloo Hire Centre - a division of Briggs Equipment - has taken delivery of the first 15 units of a 50 unit order for 19ft Sinoboom 1932 slab electric scissor lifts, the first Sinoboom machines to be sold in the UK.

The 50 units include a mixture of direct electric wheel drive models which include the 1932ME and traditional hydraulic wheel motor drive machines the 1932MH. Balloo said that the purchase is part of its preparations for the growing demand expected to be generated by large projects in Ireland.

The 1932M - also known as the 0608M - offers a working height of 7.8 metres, a platform capacity of 230kg and a platform rating of two people inside and one outside. Overall width is 810mm while the machine weighs 1,575kg.
