Borger Cranes acquires Kelly Green

Australian rental company Borger Cranes has acquired Kelly Green Crane Hire whilst celebrating 40 years in business.

Kelly Green Crane Hire, based in Kunda Park on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, was established in 1976 with the purchase of a small mobile crane by directors Peter Green and Laurie Kelly to help with their steel fabrication company. The two expanded the crane business over the years and now runs a fleet that includes 10 tonne city type cranes, truck cranes, pick & carry cranes, Rough Terrains and All Terrains up to 100 tonnes. The two initiated the sale as part of their retirement plan. The acquisition takes the Borger fleet to 96 cranes, including All Terrains with capacities ranging from three to 750 tonnes and up to 600 tonne crawler cranes.
