UK rental company Quick Reach has ordered an initial four 53ft LGMG SR1623 Rough Terrain scissor lifts from local distributor Access Platform Sales (APS).
The SR1623 offers a maximum working height of 18 metres, and comes complete with four wheel drive, levelling jacks, and dual roll out extensions - taking the platform length from 3.98 metres retracted to 6.58 metres with both fully extended. Maximum platform capacity is 680kg, while the extension capacity is 230kg.
Quick Reach’s engineering director Jim Dorricott, said: “Our business development plans are based on making the right capital investment decisions so our customers get machines that deliver the most value. This first batch of LGMG machines reflects that approach. On top of APS’s fantastic aftersales support, LGMG scissor lifts have design and performance features that impress us and will impress our customers.”
APS major accounts manager Linda Betts added: “We’re delighted Quick Reach has selected LGMG scissor lifts and is working with APS. The platforms are designed 100 percent with rental companies in mind.”
Founded in 2014, Quick Reach operates from Manchester, London, West Bromwich, Doncaster and Wishaw in Scotland. The company’s fleet includes push arounds, scissor and spider lifts, mast and articulated booms and telehandlers.
