UK first for PAS

UK rental company Powered Access Services (PAS) has taken delivery of the first five 53ft Genie GS-5390 RT scissor lifts with Stage V diesel engines in the UK.

The GS-5390 RT has a maximum working height of 17.95 metres, a platform capacity of 680 kg and is equipped with turbocharged, Stage V engines. The engines feature ‘smart regeneration’ technology to safeguard the engine and its components without any compromise to the power and performance. The new scissor lifts also feature the company’s telematics system, Genie Lift Connect.

Managing director, Mark Cadman said: “The reliability, functions and platform size of the Genie GS-5390 Rough Terrain scissor lift has made it a popular machine among our customers. For our business, return on investment is a key factor, and in this respect, this robust machine has never let us down, leading us to reinvest in these five new Stage V models."

PAS operates a fleet of around 500 scissors, boom lifts and telehandlers from locations in Coalville and Hitchen.
