German rental company Biberger Arbeitsbühnen & Stapler has taken delivery of three new Palfinger telescopic truck mounted lifts, the 25 metre P 250 BK, 28 metre P 280 CK and 30 metre P 300 KS.
The P 250 BK is mounted on a 3.5 tonne Mercedes Sprinter chassis, while the two larger units are mounted on a 7.5 tonne MAN chassis. The P250 BK offers a maximum outreach of 16.9 metres with 100kgs, or 12 metres with the maximum 200kg capacity.
The P 280 has a five section boom topped by a long articulating jib, to offer 18.8 metres of outreach with 100kg in the platform, while outreach with the 300kg maximum platform capacity is available at up to 12.5 metres. The P 300 KS features a four section boom plus long jib for a maximum outreach of 20.5 metres, 18 metres with 200kg or and just over 12 metres with the maximum 350kg.
The family owned company is based in Schierling to the south of Regensburg in southern Germany, and is a member of the System Lift network of independent rental companies and runs a fleet of booms, scissor lifts, and truck mounts as well as telehandlers, both fixed frame and 360 degree models. The company is expanding and recently opened a location in Regensburg.
Martin Biberger, who runs the business with his brother Benjamin said: "We have recently added the P 250 BK, P 280 CK and P 300 KS models to our equipment fleet, covering a wide range of tasks and requirements. We need powerful, reliable, flexible and safe equipment for our customers from the municipal sector or the skilled trades. And such requirements are fully met by Palfinger's aerial work platforms."
"The 280 CK is a high tech device that is ideal for urban use, not least because of the hydraulic basket rotation device with automatic return to centre position and the 300kg platform capacity. The user friendliness of the machine makes it a premium offering of our rental company."
