100 Hiabs for UK’s MV Commercial

UK commercial vehicle sales and rental company MV Commercial has ordered 100 Hiab loader cranes with capacities ranging from 11.3 to 90 tonne/metres.

In a deal worth more than £5 million, the order includes a number of models from Hiab’s light, medium and heavy-duty ranges, including the 11.3 tonne/metre X-HiDuo 118, 15.3 tonne/metre X-HiDuo 158, 21.1 tonne/metre X-HiDuo 228, 33.5 tonne/metre X-HiPro 362, 39 tonne/metre X-HiPro 418, 55 tonne/metre X-HiPro 558, 59 tonne/metre X-HiPro 658, 80 tonne/metre X-HiPro 858 and the 90 tonne/metre X-HiPro 1058. All will be equipped with the company’s HiConnect telematics system which uses real time data to provide information on utilisation, operation and machine condition.

With deliveries scheduled throughout 2021 and 2022, the company says the order will maintain and expand its inventory for sale or rental. 60 percent of the cranes will be mounted to various chassis by Hiab’s installation facilities in the UK, with the remaining installed by third party body builders. Hiab UK will also provide the after sales and support service for the cranes going forward.
