Block the scammers

We have received news today of yet another mailing list scam, this one claiming that Vertikal Days is cancelled and that they have a list of 1,000 visitors that you can buy - a total load of ‘tosh’ - not a single aspect of the email is true. This one is supposedly from:

Alyssa Ortiz of Conferas.us which does not exist.

It said:
Hi,
Due to increasing concerns about the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, and to help protect the health and safety of our customers The The event has been postponed.
However, if your agenda is to increase your sales and revenue by reaching out all the attendees, do let me know. We can provide you with the list of registered participants.
Registered Participant’s Data Include: Client Name, Business Name, Title, Email Address, Phone Number, Web Address

Some companies received an identical one it from Joslyn Head of venuvi.us also totally fictitious featuring the exact same text - complete with typos:

Earlier this week we had emails offering to sell us 3,000 Vertikal Days addresses – including information that has never been collected. In that case we decided to engage the crooks, perhaps stupidly, but we had no response – possibly due to our questions or our Vertikal.net email address?

We suggest you block and perhaps report them.
