UK rental company Southern Cranes & Access has taken delivery of a 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain as part of a five crane order.
The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 features a five section 48 metre main boom topped by 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold lattice swingaway extension to offer a maximum tip height of 67.5 metres. The company also ordered a 50 tonne LRC 1050-3.1 city crane, scheduled for delivery next month, along with three 40 tonne LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain cranes.
Director Kelvin Prince, said: “We are extremely pleased to accept the 60 tonne crane and look forward to the remainder of the package. Even in these tough times we have continued to invest in new machines as customers and sites dictate an up-to-date fleet with the latest engine technology offering the lowest emissions. We chose Liebherr due to their wide-ranging product which fitted our fleet profile along with their outstanding service support, as well as their dedication to the customer relationship which we look forward to many more years of.”
Established in 1997, family run Southern Cranes & Access is based in Horsham, West Sussex. It runs a fleet of more than 50 All Terrain and city cranes as well as mobile self-erecting tower cranes and a fleet access platforms and telehandlers throughout the south east of the UK.
