UK access and loader crane rental company Highway Hire has ordered 16 Versalift VTL-135 van lifts plus two units of the company's new VTA-135 pick-up lifts.
Mounted on Ford Transit van chassis, the VTL-135 features a two section boom and an articulated jib to offer a working height of 13.3 metres, an outreach of 8.4 metres and a platform capacity of 230kg. Scheduled for launch at Vertikal Days in September, the new 13.5 metre VTA-135 units will be mounted on a Toyota Hilux. Deliveries are scheduled for February with the VTL-135s scheduled between March and August.
Graham Papierowski, operations manager for Highway Hire, said: “The product is excellent, the company is easy to deal with, and most of all their back up and support is second to none. No matter where the vehicle is, in a field, by the side of the road, or in a site compound, the Versalift team are there supporting their product. Whether it be a breakdown, a service, or a LOLER inspection, Versalift and their team of fully trained sub-contractors are on hand to support us.”
Established in 2015, Highway Hire offers a number of van, truck and spider lifts as well as flatbed vehicles fitted with loader cranes from its location in Reading.
