New dealer for Easy Lift in GB

Italian spider lift manufacturer Easy Lift has appointed UK sales company Independent Access Sales (I A Sales) as its distributor for England, with Caledonian Access remaining distributor for Scotland.

Established by Richard Martin last year (see: New UK sales company), the company is also working with Multitel UK and Ascendant and also offers a consultancy service to help clients find the correct platform for their requirements.

As part of the appointment, I A Sales has ordered a number of Easy Lift's latest 23.5 metre RA24s spider lifts, which are currently in the final stages of testing. Scheduled for launched in October, the RA24 will fill the gap between the company’s existing 21 metre R210 and its 26 metre R260. Its double sigma riser, three section telescopic boom and articulated jib provides an outreach of 12 metres with unrestricted platform capacity of 230kg at an up and over height of 11 metres. Weighing 2,990kg, features include extendable tracks, 360 degree slew, 30 percent gradeability and radio remote controls. I A Sales has ordered both a diesel and a hybrid version.

The RA24 measures just 5.2 metres in length and less than a metre wide with its basket removed

The company has also ordered a number of other diesel models including the 13 metre R130, 18 metre R180, 21 metre R210 and hybrid 31 metre RA31HY. Deliveries are set to commence in the coming weeks.
