20 Multitels for Beyer

German rental company Beyer-Mietservice has started taking delivery of 20 Multitel Pagliero truck mounted platforms.

Mounted on 3.5 tonne Mercedes Sprinter chassis, the order consists of 15 MT 162 EX and five MT 162 EX Hybrid versions. The MT 162 EX features a three section straight telescopic boom and offers a working height of 16.15 metres, a maximum outreach of 11.5 metres and a maximum platform capacity of 300kg.

Five hybrid models, which offer the same performance capabilities as the MT 162, are powered by a battery pack that the company says can be recharged from empty to full in under four hours. Features on both models include H-frame out and down outriggers - which can either be deployed inboard, extended on one side or extended on both sides - and automatic levelling.
