CTE has appointed Glendun Plant Sales of Dungannon, Northern Ireland, as its dealer for Ireland.
The company will work through CTE UK and will cover sales of new and used CTE truck mounted platforms and Traccess spider lifts. In the immediate term, spare parts will continue to be handled by CTE UK and Italy, although the plan is to transfer this aspect of the business to Glendun once training is complete and travel restrictions are lifted.
Craig Rooke, managing director of CTE UK, said: “CTE UK has for many years been supplying customers on the island of Ireland and since I joined the company, we looked at having a greater presence there. With the arrival of Brexit and the new trading rules, we worked diligently to find a partner which could best support our customers as well as win new business. I have known Dermot Cunnie for a few years and the team at Glendun have done a fantastic job with powered access sales and am sure that together we will make a great team.”
Dermot Cunnie added: “We are delighted to add the CTE range of truck and track mount equipment to our range. We have been increasingly asked for 20 metre plus tracked and vehicle mounted machines to complement our wood chipping equipment for the arborist and rental markets and CTE completes this range for us. We have placed an order for several new truck mounts and tracked machines to have ready for sale.”
Glendun is also a distributor for Wacker Neuson, Niftylift, Skyjack, Först woodchippers, HPC Kaeser compressors and Trime portable lights.
