UK rental company Aspire group, which includes Aspire Platforms and Aspire Tower Services, is opening a new, purpose built facility for greater London.
Located in Rainham, Essex, the new depot will be the main hub for the company’s access equipment, both scaffold towers and aerial lifts, which are currently based in separate locations. The new depot was chosen for its transport routes into central London and across the surrounding area. It will be fully operational from the start of September following an official depot 'launch event' on Tuesday 31st August.
Chief executive Vincent Rourke, said: “As our customer base increases in London and the southern counties, we are proactively enhancing our depots in order to facilitate the best possible end to end service.”
The company currently operates from two locations in the capital – Becton near London City Airport for its tower rental, while its powered access operation is based in Barking, Essex, not far from the new facility.
Aspire is based in Leigh, greater Manchester and was established in 2018 by Vincent Rourke after he left HSS. It also has a depot in Wakefield, Yorkshire. Last year the company acquired LTS - London Tower Services/London Powered Access - and thus inherited the two separate London locations - see: Aspire acquires LTS. It is now moving to this new combined facility.
