Merlo UK dealer appointment

Merlo UK has appointed BH Plant Sales as its dealer for Cumbria and the north east of England.

Based in Carlisle, BH will offer Merlo’s range of construction telehandlers and Cingo tracked carriers alongside its line up of Takeuchi excavators. Headed by David McIlwraith, the company is a division of agricultural sales company Johnston Tractors.

McIlwraith said: “We have been looking for the right opportunity to expand the product portfolio for a good while. We see huge potential to build the presence of the Merlo construction telehandler line and with a full range of models, from the compact entry level P27.6 to large scale Roto models, there is a product to suit every customer. Add to that the Merlo Cingo track carrier range and soon to be launched all electric “e-Worker” models it is an exciting time to be joining the Merlo construction dealer network.”
