Truck crane overturn

A truck crane overturned onto a cinema in Hartford, Wisconsin - North East of Milwaukee - on Saturday.

The crane was brought to site by a roofing company that was apparently preparing for some lifts planned for this week. It was looking to see how far the crane could reach into the roof, with its full boom extended.

However, something clearly went wrong, and it tipped forward onto the roof, possibly due to it being short rigged on the load side of the crane? The boom came to rest on a wall on the other side of the building saving the roof, although it is due to be replaced. Damage was minimal and thankfully no one was hurt in the incident. The crane was successfully recovered later in the day.
