German rental company Meyerlift has supplied aerial work platforms and telehandlers to help in the the setup of the 34th Wacken Open Air, one of the world's largest heavy metal festivals with Guns N’Roses featuring as this year's headline act.

The company provided boom lifts from Niftylift, Magni/Dingli and Genie - including the a quadtrack unit, along with telehandlers and other equipment for the stage construction, lighting systems and technical installations.
Final preparations get underway

Meyerlift is based just 30 minutes from the festival grounds, allowing it to provide close support for the event setup and tear down operations. The event has been held annually since 1990 on the first weekend of August in the village of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Attendance typically runs to around 85,000. This year's even is being held this weekedn through Sunday.
A Nifttylift arrives

Meyer Lift - a member of System Lift - was founded by Olaf Meyer in 2000 when he took over what was a family painting contractor and entered the aerial lift rental market. Four years later, the rental and painting businesses separated. Headquartered in Hohenwestedt around 20 kilometres west of Neumünster, the company employs 16 and runs a fleet of 200 aerial lifts, many of them tracked boom lifts, along with telehandlers and glass handling machines.
