Strong year for System Lift

System Lift, the German association of independent rental companies, has reported increased revenues and fleet sizes in 2020.

The revenues reported through the association rose nine percent to €267.3 million in 2020 resulting in a dividend of €350 per share providing each System Lift partner company with a payment of €7,000. Overall, more than €69.5 million was spent by members on new aerial work platforms, forklifts and telehandlers in 2020, taking the total fleet size to 20,000.

The association also reported a one percent increase in training, with a significant rise in e-learning helping counteract a fall in classroom based training, due to Covid-related restrictions. This year, the company expects to achieve a 10 percent growth in classroom based training and a further 80 percent in e-learning.

System Lift currently has a total of 80 members operating from 140 locations predominantly throughout Germany, but also in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Poland and Turkey.
