18t Galizia for Sangwin

UK rental company Sangwin Plant Hire has taken delivery of the first 18 tonne Galizia GF180 electric pick and carry crane in the country. The new crane was purchased from UK distributor GGR, with the hand over at Vertikal Days last week.

The GF180 can take nine tonnes to a maximum lift height of 12 metres and 2.2 tonnes to a radius of 8.5 metres. Features include a 3.5 metre hydraulic luffing jib, 180 degree hydraulic rear steering, low marking tyres and radio remote controls. The company says its 3.5 metre turning radius is ideal for lifting, shifting and placing loads without the need for outriggers, while the non marking tyres allow for work in factories with sensitive flooring.

GGR sales and business development director, Michael Heneghan, said: “I believe that it is the ideal solution that Sangwin have been looking for. We have had a good relationship with Sangwin since we supplied them with a Galizia G150 unit so we are happy to help them out again and provide a solution that meets their exact requirements.”
