New headquarters for Mateco

German aerial work platform rental company Mateco has moved into its new corporate headquarters building in Stuttgart, after breaking ground on the facility last December - see: Mateco breaks ground on new HQ.

The office block

The new facility covers an area of more than 20,000 square metres and in addition to its role as the group's corporate headquarters it is also home to the company’s local Stuttgart branch. The current Ludwigsburg branch has now been closed, following the move.

Inside all is new

The address for the facility is Am Längenbühl 16 in 71229 Leonberg, located close to the major crossroads of the East/West A8 - Karlsruhe to Munich autobahn and the North/South A81 autobahn.

Founded in 1973, Mateco is Germany's largest powered access rental company with a fleet of more than 12,000 units operating from 60 locations across Germany. It has 1,000 employees, 150 of whom are based in the Stuttgart area.
