Palfinger has delivered its 2,000th Light NX truck mounted lift 12 years after its introduction.
The milestone 25 metre P250 BK has been delivered to Swiss aerial lift sales and rental company UP group.

Mounted on a 3.5 tonne Mercedes Sprinter chassis, the P250 BK offers an outreach of 16.9 metres and a maximum platform capacity of 250kg. Palfinger’s Light NX range currently consists of five models, all of which feature lightweight anodised aluminium booms, with working heights from 18 to 28 metres.

UP product manager Markus Weber said: “Our customers love the Light NX access platforms. The material, hydraulics and electrics complement each other perfectly. The great advantage of these access platforms is their user friendliness.”

Palfinger area sales manager Christian Busch added: “I am particularly pleased that we are today able to hand over the 2,000th model to the UP group. Our Swiss partners expect the very highest quality standards – and they have the biggest fleet of Light NX class models. That speaks for itself.”

Founded in 1979, UP group operates a fleet of aerial work platforms from 13 locations throughout Switzerland. The new P250 BK is the 184th Light NX model to enter its truck mount fleet, said to be the largest fleet in Switzerland. The company is also the distributor for Genie, Imer, Platform Basket, Palfinger, Manitou, GSR, Europe Lift and Hinowa.
