Spanish industrial services company Gruas J. Marín has taken delivery of the first 21.5 tonne Jekko JF990 spider crane in the country from distributor Transgrúas.
The JF990 combines a large articulated Fassi loader crane with Jekko’s tracked spider chassis. It features a nine section main boom plus a nine section articulating jib to offer a maximum lift height of 41 metres and a maximum radius of 37.25 metres, both at which it can handle 265kg. It can also take its maximum capacity to 3.5 metres.
The crane is diesel powered, but it features a 13kW AC mains electric power pack providing emission free quiet operation when required. It has also been supplied with a fully integrated work platform attachment, offering a working height of 38 metres and an outreach of 34 metres.
Established in 1965, Gruas J. Marín specialises in machinery relocation and installation. It has a large fleet of loader and pick & carry cranes and also offers a number of forklifts for rental from its location in Sabadell, close to Barcelona.
