A video posted a couple of days ago shows two men struggling to load a 19ft HSS scissor lift onto a truck.
It seems that the somehow the back end of the lift has partially slipped off the truck ramp. The pair have attached a winch line but rather than to the chassis they appear to have clipped it much higher up - somewhere around the platform toe board. One of the men is using a piece of timber to lever the back end onboard.
To see what happened just watch the short video clip.
Clearly this whole incident is wrong from so many angles including the cardinal sin of not controlling the busy traffic when carrying out something so risky. It is only pure luck that no one was injured or killed. Definitely one for our Death Wish series.

Doomed from the start, alot of these equipment rental companies are using truck equipment with ground level loading. Mitigates the hazards/risks of narrow/steep ramp. Protects the operator and the equipment.
