Jekko appoints FA.RO

Spider and pick & carry crane manufacturer Jekko has started working with FA.RO. Italian Technology to increase its penetration of the South American market. It will become the company’s ‘official representative’ for the entire region except Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, which are already covered by distributors - Sitsa, Guindaste Aranha, Manger and BH Maquinarias respectively.

FA.RO is based in Santiago, Chile and has been looking to become more active in the crane and access market and agreed a partnership deal with Multitel for its truck mounted and spider lifts last month.

It represents Italian manufacturers, with a focus on construction related equipment, mining and agricultural industries helping them to set up distributors and reach major accounts etc.. and covers the who region, including the Caribbean.
