Tadano adds to Virginia sales network

Tadano America has appointed Central Atlantic Crane as an authorised distributor for Tadano All Terrain, Rough Terrain and telescopic crawler cranes in the state of Virginia.

The company plans to stock a wide range of Tadano Rough Terrain cranes, along with the new 120 ton GT-1200XL-2 and 80 ton GT-800XL-2 truck cranes unveiled at Conexpo.

Tadano America’s regional business manager Tony Hampton said: “We look forward to working with Tim and the Central Atlantic Crane team to help grow both of our businesses. Our existing and new Tadano customers in the Virginia area will benefit from this expansion in our distributor network. This partnership now provides loyal Tadano customers throughout the Commonwealth with a closer distributor to aid them in new equipment purchases, service and parts.”

Central Atlantic co-owner Tim Yauilla added: “I am excited to introduce the Tadano and Central Atlantic Crane partnership to new customers in Virginia and share our values and commitment with them. We must go the extra mile to solve the issues customers face each day, such as maximising equipment uptime. The smallest things can impede jobsite productivity, so we need partners who will make sure their jobs are on-track and profitable. We look forward to offering our new and existing customers some of the greatest products in the crane industry."

Based in Chesapeake, Central Atlantic Crane was incorporated last year ands is based on the same site as Coastal Virginia Crane & Rigging and Precon Marine. The company says: “Central Atlantic Crane doesn't believe that locations and costly overhead help the customer in the crane business. Instead, we prefer to invest time and money on service technicians and equipment parts inventory to better serve our customers and their needs. Sales activities are covered from our Chesapeake location, with any customer visit less than five hours away.”
