Dutch loader and telehandler manufacturer Tobroco-Giant has launched new all-electric telescopic loader, the G2700E HD. The new loader is available in three versions to cover different applications - the G2700E HD, G2700E X-TRA HD, and G2700E TELE HD - all powered by a 13kW electric motor and 48V lithium-ion battery pack which is normally topped up with an external charger. The new model is intended largely for the agricultural, horticultural, landscaping and local government markets.
Lift height is up to 3.71 metres with a capacity of 2,200kg. The compact units have an overall width of just 1.08 metres, an overall length of 3.6 metres, an overall height of 2.34 metres but can be lowed to less than two metres with an option folding roll bar, overall weight is 2,695kg. The G2700E X-TRA HD offers increased lifting force, while the G2700E TELE HD has a slightly higher boom pivot point taking the lift height to 3.71 metres. An optional hydraulic cooling unit can be specified for hydraulic-driven attachments.
Tobroco Giant was established in 1996 by owner/chief executive Toine Brock in Haaren, the Netherlands, initially working from an old pigsty at his parents home. The name comes from Toine Brock Construction
It has been supplying products to Kubota since 2013, including its compact telehandler models. Today it also builds products in Hungary and has recently acquired land in Cedar Falls, Iowa for a new plant and offices.
