New Terex SE distributor for Poland

Terex Self-Erecting tower cranes has appointed EWPA as its distributor for Poland.

The company is based in Komorniki, near Poznań and was established in 1989 it has placed an initial order with Terex for a four tonne CBR 40H, which boasts a 40 metre jib with a one tonne jib tip capacity, and a 4.4 tonne CSE 32 with 32 metre jib and 1.05 tonne jib tip capacity. The new cranes are destined for the company’s rental fleet unless sold in the meantime.

EWPA already handles several Terex Rough Terrain cranes and a number of products from the Terex Material Processing division and is a Merlo telehandler distributor as well as handling Case construction equipment. It also claims to be adding Tadano cranes to its range. In addition to its Komorniki headquarters the company operates from locations in Wrocław, Gdańsk and Szczecin.

Chief executive Szymon Atraszkiewicz said: “As a distributor for many Terex brands in Poland, we have built up valuable knowledge and expertise that will lend itself well as we extend our product offering to include Terex Self-Erecting Cranes. Designed for excellent productivity and long service life at economical operating costs, we feel they will offer our Polish customers an excellent return on investment.”
