New Aussie dealer for Palazzani

Italian spider lift manufacturer Palazzani has appointed Access Worx as its exclusive distributor in Australia for the states of Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. The first units of an initial stock order placed under the new agreement have shipped and are on their way to Sydney and Brisbane. Earlier this year the company set up a new ‘division’, or rather brand, for spider lift sales and support – Spider Worx.

Based in Melbourne, Access Worx, which also trades as Access Sales & Spares, was established in 2008 to distribute and support aerial work platforms and material handling equipment. It also offers Dingli booms and scissor lifts, Imer spider lifts, Dino trailer lifts and Hangcha forklifts. It provides direct parts and service coverage in the states for which it has the Palazzani distribution, and covers the rest of the country through independent service providers. The company has been working with Palazzani since the start of the year.

The company’s sales manager is Luke Hamilton who has been with the business for more than nine years, having started out in the safety equipment business with Casey Cab & Frame.

Palazzani export manager Laura Gasparini said: “Access Worx is a specialised company guided by skilled persons who have great experience in the aerial access industry in Australia, both in terms of sales and service. Having the opportunity to work with them was absolutely a not to be missed opportunity to strategically enter the Australian market.”
