Mollo acquires in Brescia

Italian rental company Mollo Noleggio has made another acquisition taking over the Brescia based aerial lift rental company Albatros.

Albatros which also trades as Albatros Piattaforme was founded in 2003, to provide platform equipment rental and technical service. It runs a wide range of equipment, including booms, scissor lifts, spider lifts, truck mounted lifts, spider cranes and lightly duty truck cranes, from its location in Poncarale on the south side of Brescia.

The Brescia location is now part of the Mollo group but continues to trade under the Albatros name alongside that of Mollo. The acquisition takes the number of Mollo locations to 60.

Established in the 1970s Mollo expanded purely organically until it launched the current acquisition trail in 2022, since then it has snapped up six companies, in addition to the one announced today. They include: Tecnostrutture from Fombio - north of Piacenza -in March Edilservice in Tuscany in December, Manetta Noleggi in Teramo in July last year, PMP in Udine in May 2023 and Monia Noleggi of Forlì and Parmiani Noleggi in Sondrio in March 2022.
