Last Tuesday a four axle All Terrain overturned on to industrial buildings in Plankstadt on the west side of Heidelberg.
We understand that there were no serious injuries. The damage is said to be expensive and includes both the site where the crane was working and adjoining properties.
It looks as though the Grove crane from the Florian Herbold fleet was rigged with a reduced counterweight and fully extended main boom, although it is possible that the outriggers retracted when the crane went over. – although the limited space suggests not.
