Turkish dealer for Ausa

Spanish telehandler manufacturer Ausa has confirmed the appointment of Turkauz1 Makine as its distribution partner in Turkey.

Based in Istanbul, Turkauz1 was established in July 2020 Hilmi Battal and Ferdi Aslan to supply new and used machinery to the earthmoving, mining and construction industry. The deal with Ausa includes dumpers, Rough Terrain forklifts and compact telehandlers.

Ausa country manager Manuel Urbaneja said: “With Turkuaz1 Makine as our new partner in Turkey, we are helping ensure that we can offer our product ranges throughout the territory. Our commitment to this market is clear. We see an upward trend in the rental of construction machinery but also in the agricultural sector, where our compact products fit perfectly. With Turkuaz1 Makine, we are convinced that we are starting a stable project with significant growth potential for both businesses.”

Turkauz1 Makine’s founder, Hilmi Battal added: "We chose Ausa to be part of our portfolio because of their renowned reputation for manufacturing high quality, reliable, and compact construction machinery, which complements our mission to offer only the best to our clients. These products will attract a broader customer base and enhance our market competitiveness. Thanks to Ausa's strong global presence and reputation, we can leverage their brand to build trust and credibility with new and existing customers. Overall, this new partner will strengthen our position in the construction and agricultural machinery markets and drive our company's growth and success.”

Family owned Ausa announced a new international expansion plan in 2022 which aims to 'double sales and decentralise its dependence on its larger existing markets, but then in May it agreed a deal for JLG to acquire the business with closing expected in the next few months.
