New Training Plus centre

Training Plus- the training division of Access Plus – has opened a new training centre in Bathgate, Scotland to increase its coverage across the country.

One of the new workspaces

Located west of Edinburgh, the facility has been purpose built to support a range of courses and training requirements. It includes four training rooms for theory based courses, such as first aid and Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) programmes, along with a dedicated area for practical training in IPAF, PASMA, and forklift operations. It adds to Training Plus’s facility in Glasgow, which will now serve as the dedicated forklift training centre.

Established in 1998 and based in Irvine, Access Plus was acquired by Briggs in 2022. It operates a fleet of around 700 aerial work platforms, including booms, scissor lifts, truck mounts, spider lifts, van mounted platforms, and telehandlers. It is also a member of the Access Alliance, a network of independent regional rental companies offering nationwide coverage.
