Chinese aerial lift manufacturer XCMG will launch a CE version of its new 125ft all electric telescopic Rough Terrain boom lift, the XGS40ACK at Bauma, Munich, in April. The first three units have just arrived in the Netherlands, one of which will be on the stand at Bauma.
The 125ft XGS40ACK has a four section telescopic boom topped by a 2.44 metre jib with 130 degrees of articulation - 60 degrees below and 70 degrees above the horizontal boom - providing a maximum working height of 40.2 metres and a maximum outreach of 22.5 metres with 300kg in the basket. The maximum platform capacity is 460kg, available at up to 19 metres outreach. The 2.4 metre by 900mm basket has160 degrees of platform rotation and three entry points.

The overall width is 2.3 metres extending to just over four metres when working, while the overall stowed height is 2.8 metres and the overall stowed length just under 15 metres, or 11.8 metres with jib tucked under for transport, without increasing the overall height. The total weight is 21 tonnes.
Power comes from an 80.5v 604Ah lithium ion battery pack, four wheel drive and four wheel steer are standard. The non-CE model, the XGS40ACK-Li, has been available in China since late last year, but differs significantly from the CE model in some areas.
