A first glimpse from the ARA
The ARA Show opened yesterday in Las Vegas, with good levels of attendance and a good few all new products.
The following photos will hopefully provide a taste of the event and developments.
We will follow up and add to this next week.
Attendance on day one was good
Skyjack at the entrance with its new E-Drive scissors while celebrating its 40th anniversary
CTE -USA highlighted its growing distribution network
MEC had plenty of new products on show including a 60ft version of its Dual Reach boom lift and new 66ft telescopic with rotating jib
As well a new 135ft telescopic with rotating jib – the Boom 135-RJ
The Genie stand was busy with almost all exhibits new products including its Next Generation scissor lifts 80ft electric boom and new telehandler

E313 JLG had the all new1,600kg/4m mini electric telehandler
Magni's showed its new 3,000kg/6m compact telehandler the 3.6 alongside its larger models
The Niftylift stand – as well stocked as ever
GMG made an impressive return with numerous new products, including a 4m platform option. Its products are now built in Monterey, Mexico
Unusually for the ARA this year the show had an outside area

Canada’s UP Equip’s stand with Hoeflon cranes, Easy lift spiders and AlmaCrawler products

The Chinese producer Hynee showed a 12.6m mast boom with three section jib for 6m outreach
The show opens again this morning and runs through Saturday, Ther are plenty of other new products and manufacturers to cover.
