Belgian crane, aerial lift rental and heavy lift/transport group Dufour has taken delivery of a 54 metre 54T Platform Basket telescopic spider lift and crane from Platform Basket France.

The spider offers a maximum working height of 54.1 metres while maximum outreach varies from 18.5 metres with a 400kg platform capacity, to 17 metres with 500kg, reducing to 14 metres when carrying the maximum 1,000kg capacity. When stowed with the basket, it has an overall length of 9.55 metres and overall width of 2.43 metres and an overall height of 2.77 metres. The new model has an all up weight of 23,000kg.

Dufour’s fleet includes a wide range of All Terrain cranes from 40 tonne two axles models up to the 700 tonne flagship, a Liebherr LTM 1650-8.2, along with lattice crawlers up to 400 tonnes, spider cranes, pick & carry cranes, heavy loader cranes and mobile self-erecting tower cranes from locations in Baudour west of Mons, and Herstal on the north side of Liège.
