Biggest Igo to date

Potain has unveiled its largest self-erecting tower crane to date - at Bauma this week - the eight tonne Igo T 139, which, like the other Igo T models, features a telescopic lattice tower to vary its lift height. Other models in the range include the Igo T 70 A, the Igo T 85 A, the Igo T 99, and the Igo T 130.
The new Igo T 139

The Igo T 139 has jib lengths of 50 or 55 metres with jib tip capacities of two and 1.2 tonnes respectively in Potain Plus capacity mode which slows function speeds and checks that other parameters such as wind speed are suitable for the higher capacities. Changing the jib length involves swapping the short jib tip section for a longer one. Hook heights can be extended to 40.7 metres, through the “simple, intuitive insertion” of an additional six metre tower section Ballast slabs of 4,050kg feature a new design for easier stacking on the crane.
The crane can be towed at speeds of up to 80kph as an articulated semi-trailer, and once on site can be erected swiftly with the help of Potain’s Smart Setup function.
In semi-trailer mode it can be towed at up to 80kph

Options include an ‘Ultraview’ cab, for jobs that need the operator to be above ground level and the Potain Connect telematics platform, for easier troubleshooting and fleet management.

Product manager Remi Deporte said: “The Potain Igo T 139 sets new standards of excellence in our telescoping, self-erecting cranes. These new cranes are perfect for shorter term job sites where larger loads must be lifted. They offer a perfect combination of capacity, reach, and compactness with the added benefit of the latest Potain technologies.”
