Australian crane manufacturer Franna, part of Terex has appointed Aidan O’Neill to the new role of regional sales manager for Southeast Asia. He will be based in Malaysia.

O’Neill joined the Terex Materials Processing group in 2023 in his current role as a market research analyst based in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. He began his career in 2015 as a sales advisor with Ireland’s MMD Communications, and within two years was team leader.
In 2018 he moved to the Donnely group as a commercial sales executive but left that same year for a similar role with Volkswagen dealer Agnew group in Belfast. In 2020 he had a brief spell with Yellowcom in a business development position, before joining materials and mineral washing and processing equipment supplier MWS as a market research analyst, which led to his recruitment by Terex two and a half years later.
The new dedicated Franna plant in India
The announcement said: “Aidan brings a proven track record of building strong customer relationships. Complementing this, his four years of analytical expertise have equipped him with the skills to identify growth opportunities in new markets and deliver actionable insights that support strategic business decisions. This blend of hands on sales success and data driven market analysis makes him exceptionally well suited to represent Franna as regional sales manager for Southeast Asia, a region identified as having major growth opportunities in the brand’s continuing international expansion.”
O’Neill added: “I am very excited to join the Franna team who have an excellent reputation for safety and success. Franna is a proven product which has captured almost the entire respective market within Australia and has more recently become one of the key market leaders within the highly competitive Indian market. I look forward to expanding this success within the Southeast Asia region.”
The facility is all new
