German rental company Armo is expanding operations in the Saarland and Westpfalz regions in Western Germany with investments in facilities, lifting equipment and haulage vehicles.
Work is underway at Armo's headquarters
Armo is adding around 600 square metres of space at its Lebach headquarters, southeast of Luxembourg, to create additional capacity for service, and equipment storage. It’s Westpfalz branch, an hour east, will also relocate to a newly acquired property in Pirmasens, 40 minutes south of its current location, offering larger workshop facilities, training rooms and expanded outdoor areas.

The company has hired two additional workshop employees as part of the expansion and says that it is continuing to recruit. Armo has also invested in two new Scania trucks alongside new JLG scissor lifts for its rental fleet.
Managing director Hans Bernd Mohr said: "In Saarland, we are currently expanding the Lebach branch with an additional hall. Due to the growth of recent years, also thanks to the Partnerlift network behind us, we are reaching the capacity limit at the location."

“It is our concern to provide our customers with young machines that are state of the art. That's why we're continually investing in new devices to meet this demand and keep the average age below four."
Established in 2013, the company’s fleet includes scissor lifts, boom lifts, truck mounted platforms and telehandlers. Armo is also a member of PartnerLift, the national alliance of independently owned regional aerial lift rental companies and is also an accredited IPAF training provider.
