Another Tadano for Bissinger

German service, transport and crane rental company Auto Bissinger has taken delivery of a 100 tonne Tadano AC 4.100L-1 All Terrain crane, maintaining its all Tadano fleet.

The four axle AC 4.100L-1 features a six section, 60 metre main boom, topped by a 10 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway with up to 40 degrees of offset. An 8.1 metre insert can be installed between the boom nose and swingaway to provide a maximum tip height of 85 metres. The maximum counterweight is 24.5 tonnes, of which up to 6.1 tonnes can be carried on-board within 12 tonne axle loads. The crane will be deployed for industrial construction work and recovery operations.

The crane was handed over by Tadano sales manager Michael Zieger and his successor Stefan Oerter, who will take over the southwest Germany region following Zieger's retirement.

Managing director Jürgen Bissinger said: "We've always been 100 percent happy with the cranes and service provided by Tadano, which is why we keep relying on them. Not to mention, of course, that this provides us with tremendous flexibility, since our crane operators can easily switch machines. And, of course, it also comes with advantages in regard to maintenance by our technicians."

"This means that the crane is perfectly prepared for a market that is always demanding more and more. To provide our operators with the greatest possible comfort and maximum operating safety, we ordered the full camera package and the maximum number of floodlights."

Founded in 1963, Bissinger is based in Karlsruhe, with two other locations between Pforzheim and Stuttgart. Now owned and managed by a third generation of the family, it employs around 50 over its three locations, providing traffic safety services, including towing, salvage and oil removal, as well as special and heavy transport and lifting services. The fleet includes tow trucks and a range of cranes from 40 to 100 tonnes.
