All promotions

US crane and aerial lift rental group ALL has announced two new branch level promotions - Thomas ‘T.J.’ Sokolowski in Georgia & Alabama and Joe Kiskunas in Wisconsin.

Thomas ‘T.J.’ Sokolowski has been promoted to sales manager of the company’s three branches in Georgia and Alabama. He was previously a sales representative at ALL’s Atlanta branch. In his new role, he will oversee sales teams at the branches in Atlanta, Georgia along with Mobile, and Phenix City Alabama.

Sokolowski joined the company in early 2023 from specialist contractor Casey Industrial where he was material manager and field engineer. He began his career in 2012 with Amec Foster Wheel leaving for Casey after five and a half years.

Speaking of his new role he said: “Even in a highly competitive market like Greater Atlanta, no crane provider can offer what ALL can, given our wide range of cranes up to 1,000 tonnes, while our house engineering and company owned logistics also add value. Our job in sales is to translate the full value to customers and develop a relationship as a trusted partner, not merely a transactional service provider.”

Joe Kiskunas has been promoted to branch manager of Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental’s branch in Kaukauna, just as he reaches his 10th anniversary with the group. He was previously operations manager at the branch and takes over from Scott Jerome, who retires after a more than 40 years with the company.

Kiskunas began his career with Silver Star products division of retailer Miles Kimball Company, but less than a year later he left for ALL and the crane industry and has not looked back.

Speaking of his new role he said: “I am excited to continue the tradition of Dawes and the Kaukauna branch. Dawes has a rich history of excellence throughout the Midwest. My job, and the job of everyone here, is to keep that story alive while adding our own chapters to it.”

“For years, the Kaukauna branch has had a reputation as the home of the crawlers. We are well known for working in wind energy and have been in fields all over Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Dakotas. Now, we are seeing opportunities open in other energy sectors along with a lot of work in construction of corporate campuses and the data centres that have been sweeping this part of the country.”
