Bobcat to boost distribution

Bobcat says that it is in negotiations with a number of prospective new dealers as part of a plan to add to its dealer network in southern England.

Any new dealers will be expected to handle the full line from skid steer, to mini excavators to telescopic handlers.

Neil Woodfin, Bobcat vice president of sales and marketing for Europe, Africa and the Middle East said: “We are looking for independent distributors who share our vision for market leading customer service.

Our objective is to be within the Top thee compact construction equipment suppliers in the UK by 2012. This being the year of the Olympics is a fitting year to set a podium position target.”
