Another pink machine for Bleser

German rental company Bleser has taken delivery of a 39ft Almac Bibi 1490 Evo auto levelling tracked scissor lift finished in pink as part of its ‘Pink Edition’ cancer awareness initiative.
The pink scissor arrives

The 1490, purchased through dealer Sahalift, has a working height of just over 14 metres, an overall width that extends from 1.69 to 2.03 metres and a maximum platform capacity of 400kg. Features include dynamic auto levelling with up to 14 degrees side to side and 20 degrees fore and aft. The overall length is just over three metres, while the stowed height ranges from 2.26 metres with the tracks extended, up to 2.65 metres when retracted. Overall weight is 5,425kg.

Bleser says it will donate a fixed amount to German Cancer Aid for each day the pink machines are rented out, with the aim of raising awareness and providing financial support for cancer related work, particularly breast cancer. The unit joins several other pink units in Bleser’s fleet, including three Merlo P 40.17 Roto 360 degree telehandlers ordered at the end of 2022, and a Helix 1205 mast boom in 2021.

Sahalift, who donated €2,500 at the handover, said: “The Pink Edition by Bleser is a strong action that shows how entrepreneurial commitment and social responsibility can be meaningfully combined. We are pleased to be able to support this project with our donation.”

Established in 2009, Blesser is based in Neuwied, near Koblenz and offers a full range of aerial work platforms, telehandlers, Jekko spider cranes and Böcker trailer cranes.
