Snorkels for Miles

Welsh rental company Miles Hire South Wales has taken delivery of four 19ft Snorkel S3219 Plus scissor lifts.

The S3219 Plus offers a maximum working height of 7.79 metres and a 272kg platform capacity. When stowed, it has an overall width of 800mm and is 1.75 metres long. Overall weight is 1,308kg.

The current Miles Hire company, a tool and general rental business, was established in 2003 by David Sydney Miles from his original business, DSM Plant Hire. Based in Swansea, South Wales, with depots in Cardiff and Bridgend, the company has been managed by his three children, Darren, Ryan and Jo-Ann, following David's death in 2006. The access fleet includes ladders, Podium steps, scaffold towers, low level scissor lifts and push arounds, plus slab electric scissor lifts to 26ft and 33ft Niftylift HR12L electric boom lifts.
