TH White awards apprentices

T H White, the Palfinger loader crane distributor for England, and regional Manitou telehandler dealer has celebrated the graduation of nine young employees from its four year apprenticeship programme.

The company has a policy of training its own staff though one of the longest running apprenticeship schemes in the country, which won an Edge Award for practical training two years ago.

Two of the nine, Christopher Miles and William Ives are dedicated to loader crane service while the others are assigned to the Agricultural and grass care divisions.

T H White also marked its 175th anniversary in October and managing director David Scott noted that there are currently 78 people in the company with more than 25 years service. Something he puts down to its training policy.
